How to Spot a Fake VIP Number Seller
Last updated: By Noushad, Kerala Fancy Number
Most problems with VIP numbers come from paying the wrong person. These checks help you tell a genuine seller from a fake one.
Warning signs
- They ask for your OTP for any reason.
- They want payment to a personal UPI ID or a QR code sent from an unknown number.
- They cannot tell you when you will get the UPC or an invoice.
- They offer a SIM already registered in another person's name.
- The price is far below similar numbers elsewhere, often with pressure to pay immediately.
- There is no verifiable address or independent reviews.
Checks that take two minutes
- Look up the business on Google Maps and read recent reviews.
- Confirm the number, price and process in writing before paying.
- Ask how activation works on your chosen network and how long it takes.
- Ask what happens if activation is not completed.
If something feels wrong
Stop before paying. A genuine seller will be happy to answer questions and will never ask for your OTP.
